You don’t need a lot of ingredients to make organic butter at home. All you need are 2 cups organic heavy cream and a sea salt to taste.

Steps:

  • Firstly, process the cream in a food processor for about 10 minutes.

Process until turns into a thick whipped cream, and continue until the water separates from the butter.

  • Now drain all the water from it.
  • Place the butter into a colander and strain off the liquid again.
  • Lastly, rinse the butter with cold water, gently using a spoon while the cold water runs over it, do this until the water runs clear.

When the butter is clean by using wooden paddles or spoons to smash the butter and pour off all the remaining liquid.

Now add some salt and mix it. Keep it in a jar or bowl and store in the fridge. This butter can be used for several months.
